Poppy Seed Pudding Cake

1/2 cup boiling water
1 jar (2 oz) poppy seeds
1 package yellow cake mix
1 package instant vanilla pudding mix
4 eggs
1/2 cup Cains® Light Mayonnaise
1/2 cup licorice flavored liqueur or anisette
Grease and flour 12-cup fluted tube or Bundt pan. In large bowl pour boiling water over poppy seeds. Let soak 30 minutes. With mixer at low speed beat poppy seed mixture and remaining ingredients just until blended. Increase speed to medium; beat 2 minutes. Pour into prepared pan. Bake in 350 oven 45-50 minutes or until cake tester inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan 20 minutes. Remove; cool completely on wire rack.

In place of liqueur, 1/2 cup water plus 1-2 teaspoons anise extract may be used.
